FORD has revealed the latest dates and locations for its 2014 Driving Skills for Life free training programme. The programme is targeted at inexperienced drivers who have recently passed their driving test, highlighting some of the dangers they are exposed to as new drivers and how they can be minimised. This includes using a mobile phone at the wheel, managing emergencies and night and wet-weather driving.
McLaren Automotive laid out its ambitious plans to become a competitive player in the high-performance car market on Thursday and wants to build up to 4,000 top-shelf sports car annually by the middle of the decade. The BMW Concept 4 Series Coupe – a two door version of the new 3 Series – has been revealed and will debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. It may be a concept as far as the real extremes are concerned – the butch bumpers, big air intakes and extreme wheels – but in every other way the 4 Series Concept is the production 4 Series we’ll get later in 2014.
